Hernia

The major type of hernias seen are Inguinal hernia, Femoral hernias, Hiatal hernias and Ventral hernias like Epigastric hernias, Incisional hernias, Umbilical hernias. The surgical options are Open Hernia Repair and Laparoscopic hernia repair.

Appendix

Appendectomy is the surgical removal of the appendix. This condition is called appendicitis. Appendectomy is a common emergency surgery. Open appendectomy and Laparoscopic appendectomy are the surgical treatment options for treating appendicitis.

Rectal Prolapse

Rectal prolapse is when your rectum -- the last section of your large intestine -- drops down or slides out of your anus. Old age, which weakens muscles and ligaments in the rectal area, spinal issues, long term history of diarrhoea, continous history of constipation neurological problems etc can be the main cause of rectal prolapse. Abdominal Laparoscopic /open surgery or perinial surgeries can be done for treating this.

Gall Bladder Stones

Cholecystectomy is the surgical removal of the gallbladder. Cholecystectomy is a common treatment of symptomatic gallstones and other gallbladder conditions. Open cholecystectomy and lap cholecystectomy can be done based on the physical condition of the patient.

Splenectomy

This surgery is performed when a person have an injury that damages the organ, causing its covering to break open, or rupture. Splenectomy may also be recommended if you have cancer involving the spleen or certain diseases that affect blood cells.
